Dylan: dos videos para una misma canción
Una vez salido el brillante último disco de Bob Dylan, “Together Through Life”, comenzó a circular, con el mote de “oficial”, un video de la canción Beyond Here Lies Nothin’”.
El clip en cuestión es un recorrido de fotografías del genial Bruce Davidson, que pertenecen a la serie “Brooklyn Gangs”, de 1959, el primer proyecto fotográfico de Davidson. Una de esas imágenes, justamente, fue la elegida por Dylan para ilustrar la portada del disco.
Sin embargo, días después llegó al ciberespacio el videoclip real de esa canción, una impactante y demoledora minihistoria (digna de David Lynch), en la que queda plasmada la idea de Dylan para esta obra: más allá de todo, lo único que queda es el amor.
Fue dirigido por Nash Edgerton y protagonizado por Amanda Aardsma y Joel Stoffer. El tema, además, está incluido en el trailer de la serie True Blood, cuya segunda temporada comenzará el próximo viernes.
